Often, Harvest
Home alumni will stop by the home to say, “hello”. In addition
to impromptu resident visits, Harvest Home stays in touch with
graduates through our Alumni Follow Up Program. When a mother
and child graduate, we help them through the scary but exciting
transition to a new place through home visits, telephone calls
and letters. To help our alumni set up their new home, Harvest
Home also provides move out supplies including dishes, glasses,
silverware, cleaning supplies, bedding and small appliances.
Alumni stay
abreast of community resources, parenting tips and Harvest Home
news through our semi annual alumni newsletter. We’ve also
organized two annual events, a Christmas Party and Summer
Barbecue, where past residents can keep in touch with their
Harvest Home family.
